There are two things on the bar at the bottom and the rest of the app behind the suitcase in the middle. Press the suitcase.
The bar along the bottom has Home on one side and Add on the other, and people reasonably conclude that is the entire app.
It is not. The rest of it — the calendar, the expenses, settling up, everybody on the trip, your own details, the settings — is sitting behind the raised round thing in the middle, which is me. Press me and it all comes up. Press me again and it goes away.
I want to be clear that I did not apply for this. I have been dropped down a jet bridge in Lyon, I have been searched twice in one morning, and I have spent eleven minutes on a carousel being ignored by my own household. A door was not on the list of things I expected to become.
