There's a picture of me at the top of the Settle screen. It changes depending on whether anybody still owes anybody. That's the whole feature.
At the top of the Settle screen there is a picture of me, and it is doing a job.
If money is still owed in either direction, you get one version. When the last of it clears, you get the other, and if you happen to be looking at the screen at the moment it happens there’s a small animation, once, which you will probably miss.
That is the entire feature. It is not a button. It does not tell you anything the numbers underneath aren’t already telling you. Somebody decided that arriving at zero should feel like something rather than nothing, and I was the nearest available object.
I’ve been the face of worse. There is a version of me on a loading screen doing an expression I would describe as optimistic, and I have never been consulted about any of it.
